January 31, 2007 by John · Leave a Comment

Want to give your girl friend or wife the latest cell phones in pink? There are many selections. The most popular one is the Motorola pink razr, it also comes in red, fire red, and Magenta, so you won’t run of of choice. However, my favorite pink cell phone is the Sanyo Katana Cherry Blossom Pink. The phone is super thin and has a large color display. It is a perfect balance of fashion forward technology. Master-crafted by the three-time winner of the JD Power award for highest customer satisfaction in mobile phones. It offers Bluetooth, a full-featured digital camera and two very large, bright color displays. There is no question the Sanyo Katana should be on your shopping list for the pink cellphones this Valentine’s day. Check out the other pink cell phones here.

Cool Phones for Sprint

January 28, 2007 by John · Leave a Comment

Have you noticed Sprint doesn’t have many cool phones as other carriers, or at least Sprint is always late when getting these hot new phones. Well, if you have been searching for the moto razr phones for Sprint in the past 2 years, you know what I am talking about. The motorola razr came out more than 2 years ago, that’s when my contract with sprint was about to expire. Almost every wireless carrier got the hot selling razr that time except Sprint. And there were no words that they would be carrying it anytime soon. If I remember correctly, Sprint had no motorola phone, or maybe 1 or 2 moto phones at that time. I eventually switched to Cingular for the popular razr phone. Right now, Sprint has more selections than before. In fact, once they decide to carry the phone, they always got the ones with the most advanced features. Like the motrola razr, krzr, and Q, they all have the latest EVDO compatability. Sprint, I am coming back to you once my contract is up with Cingular, please release more cool phones.

Apple iPhone

January 27, 2007 by John · Leave a Comment

Is Apple iPhone a smartphone. Some Wall Street anlaysts don’t think so. I believe the iPhone is a smart device, just like many cell phones today that can do memo, web browsing, IM, calendar, and mp3. What it lacks is the third party applications such as words, excel, powerpoints that you can easily find on Treo, Blackberry, Windows mobile devices. But the iPhone is so cool that many of the current smartphone users might even want to trade their smartphones for this hot item. The price of iPhone is no less than most the of smart phones. The new Treo 750 costs $399 after rebates with 2 year contract. The iPhone will cost you $100 more. So do you think the iPhone is smarter than your smartphone?

Palm Treo Stores

January 6, 2007 by John · Leave a Comment

I have always wanted to visit the Palm flagship retail store in New York City since it was opened last year. The new store is one of the steps Palm has taken to in promote the new Treo 680 and 750. Today, I finally got the chance to visit New York and at the same time checked out the Palm retail store at the famous Rockefeller Center, directly across from the Radio City Music Hall on 74 West 50th Street. The store is small and not as noticeable as I expected. Well, the main reason they open this store at this location is to capture the attention of pedestrians and expand the Palm visibility to wide range of audience. But obviously, if I hadn’t known the exact location to go, I wasn’t sure the tiny “Palm” would have caught my attention. The store carries Palm’s entire product portfolio from Palm Z22 handheld to the latest Treo 680 smart phone. I was hoping to see the Treo 750 for Cingular, but obviously, there wasn’t one on display. I asked the store manager, he told me they are expecting it anytime soon, but no official words on the exact date (engagetmobile has reported that the official release date would be January 8, 2007). Most of people use the Treo Smartphone today for business purpose – mobile phone, email, organizer, and web accessing. The introduction of Treo 680 comes with 4 different colors and I am hoping the see the Treo 750 soon in the store.
