If you have been waiting for the new Motorola Q9m, wait no more, it will be available on August 22nd through Verizon Wireless. With a 2-year contract, the phone will cost $299 after $50 rebate. Compared with the first Motorola Q, the new Q9m carries the new Windows Mobile 6. And the keyboard has much better look and feel. The Q9m will be available online first then the retail channels will follow a week later.

There is a interesting article today on CNN Money about why there are so few people buying Nokia phones in the U.S. Nokia make so many high-end phones like the N800 and N95. Nokia only has 15% of market share in the US while it commands over 55% oversea. Why is that? Can we blame it on iphone? The US consumers are so used to heavily discounted phones by all carriers.
