We are almost through the first half of 2008, and some of the hottest phones of 2008 have been in the buzz in the past few weeks. I have compiled a list of phones that are too hot for this summer. The first out of the gate is the so-called real iphone killer Samsung Instinct for Sprint, it’s scheduled to launch in early June, beating the 2nd generation iphone. The next will come the new HTC Touch Diamond, a phone that’s utilize the latest TouchFlo 3D technology that sets it apart from any touch-sensitive smartphones. Lastly, and the most anticipated phone for the Blackberry lovers is the long waited 3G Blackberry Bold 9000, the first blackberry with a stunning VGA screen. More hot phones are rolling out, so, stay tuned.
Verizon Wireless Coverage Area Map
May 8, 2008 by John · Leave a Comment
Did you know that Verizon’s cellular network covers Puerto Rico too? That’s right, Verizon Wireless also reaches far as Alaska and Hawaiian islands. For those who travel frequently in the States, you don’t need to worry about signal strength. Over 95% of the area covered by Verizon has digital signals, and the digital map is still expanding. So, what about voice quality? Verizon does exceptionally well in metro area. I have used phones near subways, train stations, tunnels, and airports, there is no loss of signal at all and no roaming required while other carriers like T-Mobile and Sprint experience intermit loss or require roaming (you know what that really means? they are borrowing the network from Verizon Wireless.) So, what kind of rating would you give for Verizon’s voice and data coverage?
