What Carriers will Carry the Blackberry Bold
September 5, 2008 by John · Leave a Comment
With the new Blackberry Bold launching anytime soon, you may wonder what carriers will have the Blackberry Bold first in the US. The Bold was widely expected to be released by the end of this summer. Well, although the summer is not officially over yet. For me, the heat is over unless I can get my hands on the Blackberry Bold soon. Who will have the Blackberry Bold first? AT&T, the much anticipated 3G RIM smartphone will be available first through AT&T. Then followed by T-Mobile, Sprint, and Verizon Wireless. Until then, expect to pay around $300 for the Bold with a 2-year contract. When all the carriers have the Bold in stock later this year, you will probably see the price drop a bit. Consumers stand to gain the most as different mobile carriers compete to lure new customers during the holiday shopping season. For me, which wireless carrier will have the phone will least affect my purchasing decision as I will be just out of a 2-year long contract this month. Lucky me.

We are almost through the first half of 2008, and some of the hottest phones of 2008 have been in the buzz in the past few weeks. I have compiled a list of phones that are too hot for this summer. The first out of the gate is the so-called real iphone killer Samsung Instinct for Sprint, it’s scheduled to launch in early June, beating the 2nd generation iphone. The next will come the new HTC Touch Diamond, a phone that’s utilize the latest TouchFlo 3D technology that sets it apart from any touch-sensitive smartphones. Lastly, and the most anticipated phone for the Blackberry lovers is the long waited 3G Blackberry Bold 9000, the first blackberry with a stunning VGA screen. December 22, 2007 by John · 2 Comments
I just came across the hottest deal for this holiday - The Blackberry Curve 8300 for AT&T is $0, wait, actually you can make $99 after mail-in rebates. WOW, that’s one of the best cell phone deals I ever found. You can’t find anywhere else. It’s currently an exclusive offer at letstalk.com. Although there are dozen of free cell phones for sale this holiday, I personally find the Blackberry the perfect gift for adults or anyone who would like to check emails and go online anytime and anywhere. If you don’t mind receiving the phone after Christmas, order it today and it should be at your door on Dec. 26th.
Blackberry Pearl 2 for Sprint PCS
Sprint rarely falls behind Verizon Wireless when it comes to cool new phones announcement. Blackberry’s lastest and greatest CDMA Pearl, the 8130, also called Pearl 2 is coming to Sprint PCs in November, just in time for the holiday. One noticalbe feature both Sprint and Verizon offer is the integrated GPS, which provide real-time routing and traffic alerts. Other features include 3.5mm headphone jack, stereo Bluetooth support, 2 megapixel camera, and externally accessible microSDHC slot. Folks, if you’ve been waiting for a super fast Pearl, your wait is almost over. The only choice you have to make is Verizon or Sprint. Let’s see whose shelf the Pearl 2 will show up on first.
Blackberry Pearl2 Coming to Verizon Wireless

Verizon beats Sprint to annouce the first EVDO Pearl. It comes with a microSD slot for up to 8GB of expansion. The onboard camera looks like a better deal - 2 mega pix camera vs. 1.3 mega pix for all other Pearls on AT&T and T-Mobile, let alone they are still running on a snail like EDGE network. Oh, did I mention VCAST is also available on the Pearl, so you can watch your favorite TV show on a tiny screen.
