Did Treo Cause any Trouble for Sprint

Sprint is a long time partner with Palm and has been actively promote Treo since the introduction of Treo 300. But Sprint is not fairing too well recently. 2.6% of customers are leaving each month. And Sprint are axing 4,000 employees and closing 125 retail stores. Did Palm have to do with the trouble that Sprint is currently in? Did Palm not make enough Treo for Sprint to sell? Sprint has the exclusive right to sell Treo/Centro for at least 90 days after the introduction. This obviously didn’t help Sprint to acquire and retain customers.
