How much is Sprint XHOM WiMax Service
October 1, 2008 by John
The wait for WiMax is over, at least for Baltimore. And it’s really faster than the current 3G offered by Verizon Wireless and AT&T. The XHOM scores at 3.05 Mbps for download and 2.4 Mbps for upload, compared with Verizon’s EV-DO network, which delivered 1.43 Mbps down and 0.54 Mbps up in the same locations. So, how much is Sprint’s WiMax XHOM service? At launch, mobile WiMAX service will cost $10 for a Day pass. If you want to opt for a monthly service at home, it’s going to run you $25 a month. Want maximum mobility? Try $30 monthly On-the-go service. And there is Special launch pricing includes a $50 “Pick 2 for Life” monthly service option covering two different WiMAX devices. For that price, I am going to give up my DSL entirely.
