Palm Pre Commercial

Check out the new Palm Pre Commercial from Sprint.
The Palm Pre TV Commercial mentions 4G nownetwork at the end. So, is Palm Pre going run on 4G in some markets? Or am I just dreaming?

Well, Palm pre. Yeah! Great phone. Only problem I have with it, is what the head of marketing for sprint was quoted in saying, I paraphrase, “it doesnt matter, $199, $299, or $399, you have to look at the superiority of the phone and the service that sprint offers is cheaper in the long run.” Ok number one, they are waiting too dang long to release this phone. Two, by waiting so long, and thinking that the price wont matter, is really shifting the interest in the phone back to the iPhone. Three, in this economy, regardless of the phone, they are going to need to compete with the iPhone. Nuff said! Dont mess around guys, you are losing a fan base.
Hurry up already….want to upgrade before my 30 days!
I called sprint and now they are telling me that it will be May or early June!!!

they need to hurry up or i am gonna get the blackberry storm it didn’t even take that phone long enough to come out they was not playing when that phone came out!!!!
Yo I just went to Sprint today (4/22/29) and they said they wont even have it on display until some time in June. Also if you want one you better be at the Sprint store or Best Buy the day of. They are saying that there is a high demand and not enough phones to go around. So on release day the Sprint stores will only have 3 per store for first shipment. Sounds like the PS2 when it first came out.
On another note I have had Sprint since 1999 and the phones have always sucked. I got suckered into getting the instinct which is crap! And how many months later they put out the Instinct 30, looks and functions a little better but still crap. I hope the network is better and the 4G is actually offered in the states and that it works? The Pre will be the first phone on the 4G. If not then the live streams (Sprint TV/Pandora) will, have lag and look choppy like it does now. The service has got better along with the customer service BUT I have spent thousands of dollars on phones and plans that I am hesitant with this one. I will say the 2 saving graces for this phone is gonna be the WebOsKit and the Cards.
So will this be a good device? I hope so, if not then Sprint has lost another loyal customer. Not wasting anymore money or time on the Sprint Hype.. .
