Samsung Instinct SPH-M800 for Sprint Not an iPhone Killer?

April 1, 2008 by John

A new iPhone killer is coming to Sprint in June. The sleek and thin Samsung Instinct SPH-M800 jumped in the latest trend of touch screen phones. According to Sprint, they never intended to sell it as an iphone killer, instead, it’s alternative to the iphone, or you may just call it an iphone competitor. Whatever you call it, this thin candy-bar design (4.57 inches by 2.17 inches by 0.49 inch; 4.4 ounces) in basic black is very eye-catching. The Instinct features a full alpahbetic keyboard on screen. Not sure how easy it is for typing emails, I found the the one on iphone is at least 50% slow than typing on a Blackberry phone. ONe of the most noticable feature is that you can access everything from the touch-sensative screen — from email, web, texting, Sprint TV, and integrated GPS navigation. Hey, did I mention is a EV-DO Rev. A device, which means you can browse the web much faster than the iphone. Doesn’t that make it enough an iphone killer?
