Why You Don’t Buy Verizon Blackberry Storm in Stores

Why I don’t want to buy the Storm in Verizon stores? It’s a long story and I won’t make it short. I have been checking for the best deal on Blackberry Storm since yesterday and thought it would be available after midnight EST. I waited and waited until 1:30 am Friday and still not available on Verizon’s official web site or other online stores. And what the heck, so I woke up early in the morning and rushed to a local Verizon Wireless store at 8:30 and there were already 20 people waiting outside the store. I called the store a few days earlier just case that I can’t order the phone online (and now it’s happening) and the store rep told me it would open at 9:00am instead of the regular 10:00 am. And apparently the stored opened at 8:00! I couldn’t believe it, I thought I would be one of the earliest ones to get into the store. And what made me and some other people mad is that they let people in with a Verizon business card (the card you get from the sales rep) - yeah, if I had known better I would have collected tons of them and send them to friends and families. Anywhere, I finally got my Verizon Storm setup and activated at 2:30pm! There were so many issues with in store stocks and how they wanted to allocate to the preferred customers who have gotten the business cards. And what really delay the purchase was the system got hung up for hours they had to only let a 2 terminals out of 8 to handle the transactions at a time. So, my suggestion is to buy the Blackberry Storm deal online, it can save you the entire day and leave you with no frustration. I will upload some store pictures in another post later today.
